Please stop by Plitvice Lakes National Park if you get the chance - one of the most amazing creations by nature that I’ve feasted on with my very fortunate eyes. The colours are different every day but the level of beauty is consistently stunning.

They have beaches in Paris??

Unbeknownst to me they transform some banks into sandy oases in the heart of Paris - for locals and tourists alike to enjoy a ‘Seine-side holiday’. How refreshing :)

Drive-by beauty

Yet another stunning section of coast we drove by on our way from Split to Dubrovnik. This little beach caught my eye, not a very touristy spot & oh such quainter for it. Croatia = crazy beautiful! 

Sydney in sunshine!

My friend V & I were discussing why travellers love Sydney despite how far away it is from the ‘rest’ of the world, the high cost of living etc.. Natural beauty scored high as did our unique accents! Didn’t take us long to stroll up to this spectacular vantage point. I’m not sure who stumbles on my posts but if you’re not from my city I do hope you make it a stop on your itinerary one day :)

Tamarama Beach

Where Sydney’s glamazons soak up the sun.. Complete with baby surf & turquoise hues. This morning there was a heavy fog over the beaches - a gentle backdrop to view Sculptures by the Sea against. Just a little bit other-worldly.

Paris by Sunset

One magical moment from a few months ago - reminiscing on this rainy evening about a warm summer breeze felt somewhere far far away during a romantic sunset.

Beach boardwalk..

Redang Island beachfront at the Berjaya resort. This charming boardwalk provided the perfect platform to while away the afternoon and admire the views!

Delicious racks of Dom Ruinart await the day when they will be disgorged and corked for sale. For now they lie in the underground cathedrals slowly maturing.

Les crayeres..

The ancient Roman chalk pits around Reims were re-used by champagne houses as naturally suitable storage facilities due to the high humidity, low temperatures and lack of light. It was chilly walking around both the more modern galleries and the older conical pits at Ruinart - you could really feel the moisture stored in these walls. G was racing towards our tastings by the end !
